BIOGRAPHY
Mr. Trogdon was employed by BCC as the Criminal Justice Instructor in July of 2004. Prior to this, he held similar positions at Sampson Community College and previously at BCC. He has been an adjunct instructor at Fayetteville Technical CC, James Sprunt CC, Robeson CC, Sandhills CC and Campbell University. Mr. Trogdon has an associate degree in Criminal Justice from Fayetteville Technical Institute, a BA Degree in Political Science from Fayetteville State University, and a Masters in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina.
Prior to teaching, Mr. Trogdon was the Crime Prevention Specialist for the Fayetteville, NC Police Department. He was also a Crime Scene Technician and the Latent Print Examiner for the City-County Identification Division of the Fayetteville Police Department.
Mr. Trogdon has specialty instructor certifications in the following topics: Physical Fitness Training, Subject Arrest and Control Techniques, Explosives and Hazardous Materials, OC Aerosol Projectors, Officer Survival, Hate Crime Reporting, Juvenile Minority Sensitivity Training and Terrorism Awareness Training.
