EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES

The Emergency Services division offers quality instruction whereby adults can obtain and/or maintain knowledge and certification in areas of Fire and Rescue, Emergency Medical Services, and Law Enforcement.

Fire Training

Bladen Community College offers International Fire Services Accreditation Commission approved fire training to volunteer and career firefighters. The training can be taken directly at local fire departments.

Law Enforcement Training

In-Service Training is offered to certified law enforcement officers to assist in maintaining certification. This includes mandated training as required by the Department of Justice as well as other certification and recertification classes.

Emergency Medical Training

The Emergency Medical Services Department offers Emergency Medical Technician training to the Paramedic level. Also offered are CPR, and First Aid courses.

FIRE AND LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING

Bladen Community College is proud to offer any and all of your training needs in emergency services. Whether you are a law enforcement officer needing to maintain your certification with in-service training or a firefighter wanting to acquire your North Carolina Firefighter I & II certification, we can assist you with reaching your goals. We will be offering classes this spring at various locations around the county. If you are a law enforcement officer, all upcoming classes will be posted at your departments or contact us for additional information.

LAW ENFORCEMENT IN-SERVICE TRAINING

Mandated In-Service Training and Continuing Education Training are scheduled as requested by the Bladen County Sheriff’s Department and all local town police departments.
