II.            Description:

            This course provides an overview of business financial management.

            Emphasis is placed on financial statement analysis, time value of money,

            management of cash flow, risk and return, and sources of financing. Upon

            completion, students should be able to interpret and apply the principles

            of financial management.

VII.            Delivery Method:

            Email with attachments will be the basic medium. The instructor will

            Provide chapter summaries. Students will use email with attachment for             assignments.

 

VIII.            Contact:

            Students will have weekly assignments and must maintain the schedule.

            Current email accounts must be maintained and checked regularly.

 

IX.       Tests and Project:

            Test dates will be communicated via email one week in advance. Tests

            will be given in the evening. Projects are due one week before exams.

 

X.            Assignment Schedule:

            Assignments will be communicated weekly with the chapter summaries.

            The course will cover nineteen chapters. Problems at the end of each chapter

            will be assigned. Assignments are due promptly.

 

XI.            Projects:

            The student will select a project which demonstrates as many concepts

            in finance as possible.
