PARALEGAL TECHNOLOGY

The Paralegal Technology curriculum is designed to provide specialized training in procedural legal knowledge in the areas of civil litigation, legal research and writing, real estate, family law, wills, estates, trusts, and commercial law.

Coursework includes substantive and procedural legal knowledge in the areas of civil litigation, legal research and writing, real estate, insurance, law firms, and court house services.

Bladen Community College is authorized to offer select courses leading to an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Paralegal Technology through a collaborative agreement with Johnston Community College. Johnston Community College has agreed to accept students from Bladen Community College who have completed the following courses below and who meet the requirements of Johnston Community College for admission into their Paralegal Technology Program. Johnston Community College will award the Associate in Applied Science Degree to any student successfully completing all the state requirements of their program.
