DUBLIN – Bladen Community College invited the public to its spring Writers Series to hear guest author Randell Jones reading and sharing stores from Dr. H.G. Jones book, “Scoundrels, Rogues, and Heroes of the Old North State”.  The special event was held on Monday, February 25, 3019 at 11 A.M. in the Student Resource Center. This work was edited by Randell Jones and spans 400 years, from the golden age of pirates to the early 20th century.

The event was free and open to the public. This program is part of the Writers Series at Bladen Community College and is made possible by a grant from the NC Humanities Council, a statewide nonprofit and affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities and BCC.
