Bladen Community College provides a Basic Skills Education Program to improve reading, writing, mathematics, and communication skills. Enroll in a basic skills class to earn a high school credential. Classes are at no cost to you and books are available for your use in the classroom. ENROLL ANY TIME on campus or at an off campus class site!
ADULT HIGH SCHOOL(AHS)
AHS classes, offered on campus only, are quality, competency-based courses which prepare adults for higher education or for the workforce. Bladen Community College's AHS program offers interesting and challenging classes including such courses as English, NC History and Biology to name a few! You will need to earn 25 credits to meet the graduation requirement. To enroll bring a sealed transcript from your previous school and an identification card. Students can enroll at any time during the year.
HIGH SCHOOL EQUIVALENCY
High school equivalency classes are offered by Bladen Community College both on and off campus. This program is an excellent way for individuals to find their way back into the system of better paying jobs and higher education. Millions of adults have earned their high school equivalency credential by passing the GED® which is accepted at most colleges and universities.
The high school equivalency testing fee is $20 per section or $80 total for all four parts.
Students can enroll at any time during the year. To enroll bring a valid identification card and be prepared to start LEARNING!
