DUAL ENROLLMENT PROGRAM FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
The Dual Enrollment Program at Bladen Community College allows students to take courses while they are still in high school. Courses may be taken day or night as long as those courses do not interfere with the student's regular high school courses. Tuition for the Dual Enrollment Program is free. To enroll in a degree, diploma, or certificate course the student must be at least 16 years of age. If the student wishes to take College Transfer courses through UNC-W he/she must be a high school senior and have a score of 950 or better on the SAT. The student must obtain approval from the superintendent or other designated officer and the principal of the high school he/she attends. All students applying for admission to the Dual Enrollment Program must follow the normal admission procedures. Dual enrollment forms must be completed and signed by the appropriate school officials.
