BCC FACULTY SENATE SCHOLARSHIP

The Faculty Senate will award one scholarship per year. This scholarship will pay for tuition, activity fees, and books for each quarter during the year. Eligibility for this scholarship is based upon the following criteria:

1. The student must submit a Scholarship application and an official transcript.

2. The student must be a resident of N.C.

3. The student must be enrolled or preregistered as a full-time student.

4. The student must maintain a C average (2.000).

5. The student cannot receive another scholarship in conjunction with this scholarship.

6. The student must meet the Scholarship Committee to be interviewed.

7. Priority in awarding the scholarship will be primarily scholastic achievement with strong consideration of financial need.

The individual recipient of this scholarship will automatically be awarded this scholar-ship the second year (if in a two-year program) with the stipulation that all criteria above are met.
