JOB TRAINING PARTNERSHIP ACT (JTPA)
The IR/JTPA Program is a federally funded program designed to assist students that are determined economically disadvantaged. The student needs to be enrolled in a one year or less vocational occupational extension program or a second-year student in a two-year program who is having financial problems. The IR/JTPA Program will assist the student with tuition, fees, books, and travel expense. To maintain eligibility, the student must keep a grade point average of 2.000 or better.
