| Bladen Community College subscribes
to the "Open Door" admissions policy. High School graduation, an Adult
High School Diploma, or a High School Equivalency certificate is required
for admission to any degree program offered by Bladen Community College.
Nongraduates 18 years of age or older may be admitted to any diploma or
certificate program. An advisement test, personal interview, and high school
transcript are used in determining the student's ability to make satisfactory
progress at Bladen Community College. Applicants are evaluated and counseled
into programs which are considered most appropriate to meet their needs
and objectives, consistent with their aptitudes and expressed interests.
Appropriate developmental or remedial support is provided to assist students
in overcoming deficiencies in their preparation for collegiate study. Selected
high school students may be admitted to appropriate college courses upon
approval by the high school principal and the college admissions office.
The Vice President of Student Services and staff are responsible for administering
all admission policies. |
