Services Available

Faxing: The cost to fax is fifty cents (.50) per page whether you are sending or receiving.

Copying: The cost of copies is ten cents (.10) per page.

Interlibrary Loans: Library materials not available at Bladen Community College can be ordered from other libraries in North Carolina or Southeastern United States.

 

Printed Resources

Books: A collection of over 20,000 volumes.

Audio Books: Over 400 books on tape.

Periodicals: Over 120 different magazines and journals available.

Newspapers: 9 newspapers-Wall Street Journal, Wilmington Star News, News and Observer, Fayetteville Observer, USA Today, The Bladen Journal, The News Reporter, The Robesonian, and the Sunday New York Times.

FACTS ON FILE: A current events research database which provides access to answers to questions about events, issues, statistics and people of the last 20 years.

PROQUEST DIRECT:  Indexing and full-test access to magazines and professional journals - strong in vocational and technical coverage.

ELECTRIC LIBRARY:  provides access to 120 full-text newspapers; approximately 500 full-text magazines and journals, daily updates from 20 international and 8 domestic news services and more.

NEWSBANK: Full-text access to thousands of news articles on current issues and events and indexing and full-text articles from magazines and journals.

SIRS: Provides indexing and full-text articles from magazines and journals.

GROLIER: Includes The New Book of Knowledge, Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia and Encyclopedia Americana.
