No-cost seminars for successful business practices

The Small Business Center (SBC) of Bladen Community College is offering business seminars in November at no cost to the participants.

 

Reaching Customers this Holiday Season is scheduled for Wed., Nov. 1, from 12 noon – 2 P.M. The workshop provides tips for marketing your business during the holiday season.

 

Tips to Understand Payroll and Payroll Taxes will meet on Thurs., Nov.16, from 6:30 – 7:30 P.M. Tips for Quickbook Reports follows at 7:45 P.M.

 

How to Write Grants is scheduled for Sat., Nov. 18, from 9 A.M. – 12 noon, for non-profits and churches.

 

The Bladen County Public Library will host The Best Business to Start in 2018 on Thurs., Nov. 2, from 6 – 8 P.M. Also at the library is Ten Tips for Getting and Keeping the Best Employees, scheduled for Tues. Nov. 14, from 10:30 – 11:30 A.M.

 

500 Home-Based Business Ideas is being held at the East Arcadia Center in Riegelwood on Tues., Nov. 14, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.

 

Online webinars are also available. 10 Google Tools for Small Business will be presented on Wed., Nov. 15, from 1 – 2 P.M. Maximize Your Google Listing will be presented on Fri., Nov. 17, from 10 – 11 A.M. Social Media Tools and Tricks will be presented on Mon., Nov. 20, from 7 – 8 P.M.

 

All seminars are open to the public and provided at no charge due to special funding arrangements for the Small Business Center and Bladen Community College.
