Institutional Effectiveness/Planning Institutional Effectiveness/Planning at Bladen Community College (BCC) is a systematic and continuous process of collecting, analyzing, and distributing data linked to the college’s goals and outcomes so that the data can be used to improve BCC’s overall performance and student success. Institutional Effectiveness (IE) does not occur in isolation; rather, it is an ongoing process of goal setting, implementation, evaluation, assessment, and improvement of programs and services that is applied at every level of the college. BCC is committed to improving programs and services in light of the college mission through review of goals and objectives and through the measurement, evaluation, and reporting of outcomes and activities that support the goals and objectives.
