Walk For Recovery – September 30th
Join us as we have our FIRST WALK FOR RECOVERY at Bladen Community College in observance of National Recovery Month. On September 30th, from 12:00 noon until 1:00pm, a group will walk a 1/2 mile trek around the BCC campus beginning at the Student Resource Center. National Recovery Month spreads the positive message that behavioral health is essential to overall health, that prevention works, treatment is effective and people can and do recover. National Recovery Month promotes the societal benefits of prevention, treatment, and recovery for mental and substance use disorders, celebrates people in recovery, lauds the contributions of treatment and service providers, and promotes the message that recovery in all its forms is possible. This event is brought to you as a collaborative effort of Eastpointe and Bladen Community College.
