This scholarship provides opportunities for students enrolled in the Welding Program and is provided by Cecelia Davis in memory of her father, Cecil W. McClure, former welding instructor at Bladenboro High School.

Scholarship Criteria:

• Be a NC resident.

• Submit a scholarship application.

• Be enrolled as a full time student.

• Be enrolled in the welding program.

• Be a motivated capable learner who has demonstrated economic need.

• Maintain a 2.0 GPA.

• Continue enrollment for the duration of the scholarship.

The recipient of the scholarship will be selected each year by the college’s scholarship committee. Factors to be considered in the selection process will include, but not be limited to, scholastic achievement, participation in outside activities, and demonstrate commitment to the student’s chosen disciplines.
