This scholarship was established by Kenneth and Lisa Rust of Rust Enterprises/McDonald’s for their employees to pursue a higher education.

To qualify the following criteria must be met:

• Be a McDonald’s employee for a minimum of three months.

• Be working an average of 24 hours per week.

• Be either an entering Bladen Community College student, or presently enrolled.

• Submit a scholarship application with two letters of recommendation.

• Maintain a 2.0 grade point average.

• Be enrolled as a full time student, with a minimum of twelve hours.

• Continue enrollment for the duration of the scholarship.

• Be a motivated, capable learner who has a demonstrated economic need.
