The Faculty Senate awards one scholarship per year. This scholarship will pay for tuition, activity fees and books for the fall and spring semesters.

Recipient must:

• Complete a Bladen Community College scholarship application.

• Be a full time student – minimum of 12 credit hours.

• Be a resident of Bladen County.

• Maintain a GPA of 2.5 or better.

• Provide high school transcripts.

• Provide a letter of recommendation.

• Submit an essay of no more than two pages.

• Preference will be given to those who have demonstrated economic hardship and exhausted other avenues of assistance.

• Preference will be given to children of Bladen Community College faculty members.
