This scholarship is to identify students from Bladen County attending Bladen Community College who are in need for financial assistance and do not qualify of an other assistance.

To qualify as a recipient for the Harold Dean Ingram, Sr. Scholarship an applicant must meet the following criteria:

• Must complete a Bladen Community College scholarship application.

• Must be a full-time student (minimum of 12 credit hours).

• Must maintain a GPA of 2.5 or better.

• Provide high school transcripts.

• Provide a letter of recommendation.

• Must submit an essay of no more than two pages.

Preference will be given to a student who is a Bladen County resident.  If there is no applicant who meets this criterion, it will be left to the discretion of the Scholarship committee to select an otherwise qualified student, residing outside Bladen County.

Preference will be given to students who have demonstrated economic harship and exhausted other avenues of assistance.
