A high school student (Career and College Promise) is a junior or senior in high school interested in pursuing the attainment of college credits at BCC while attending high school. CLICK HERE FOR PROGRAM DETAILS

STEPS TO APPLY:

 

(1) Determine Eligibility for College Transfer Pathways

 

(2) Determine Eligibility for Career & Technical Education Pathways

    • Be a high school junior or senior
    • Have a unweighted high school grade point average of 2.8 or higher or the recommendation of the high school principal or his/her designee
    • Meet the prerequisites for the career pathways – Students must demonstrate an 11th grade reading level, for admission into the Emergency Medical Science Pathway, by taking a standardized reading assessment
    • Meet with your high school guidance counselor to sign up

(3) Complete the Career and College Promise Program Application

    • CAREER AND COLLEGE PROMISE APPLICATION (Please complete the online application)
      • Step 1 – Click the link above
      • Step 2 – Click ‘Apply to College’
      • Step 3 – Click ‘Application Hub’
      • Step 4 – Login to your account OR Create an account
      • Step 5 – Click ‘Start an Application’
      • Step 6 – Locate ‘Bladen Community College’ from the list of schools
      • Step 7 – Click the drop down button and select ‘Career and College Promise Application’
      • Step 8 – Click ‘Apply’
      • Step 9 – Complete the online application
