BCC Students Inducted into Sigma Kappa Delta
DUBLIN – Eighteen Bladen Community College students were inducted into Sigma Kappa Delta, the national English honor society for two-year colleges, in a virtual ceremony this spring. Eighteen students were inducted in a video production that was directed and produced by Dr. Rohlf, a BCC social science and communication instructor. The English faculty members conducted the ceremony as an annual tradition. Ms. Allana Carroll, a BCC alumna was our guest speaker. In order to be inducted into Sigma Kappa Delta ,a student must have GPA of 3.0 or above, scored a B or above in English classes, and completed more than 12 credits at Bladen Community College. Students inducted into the honor society this spring were: Tamia Barber, Joshua Benson, Devin Bowen, Cecil Butler, Cailey Collier, Adia Drew, Hannah Kriner, Aiyana Lowry, Mary Lennon, Jay’quan McNair, Temperance Newell, Kayla Norris, Madison Pait, Lauren Pait, Karlee Roberts, Jazmin Salgado-Baza, Trinity Smith, and Phoebe Williams.
