Kathy Murdock Page was instrumental in establishing the food pantry for Bladen Crisis Assistance and has worked as a volunteer with this organization for many years. Kathy feels this mission was assigned by God as she asked for help and guidance in getting the food pantry started. The food pantry has been successful in providing tons of food to hungry people in Bladen County.

The donors give with the hope that recipients will regard this scholarship as an obligation to make the most of their career goals and as an opportunity to help others by modeling the community service spirit. In awarding the Kathy Murdock Page – Bladen Crisis Assistance Scholarship criteria are as follows:

• Be enrolled as a full time student.

• Submit a scholarship application.

• Maintain a 2.5 grade point average.

• Continue enrollment for the duration of the scholarship.

Preference will be given to an applicant with volunteer experience, especially with Bladen Crisis Assistance.
